Our Story
The Pub and Coffee Shop was originally founded by Beverly and Sean Edwards, whose journey began in Central Florida. Inspired by the warm, welcoming spirit of their favorite local pub, they brought that same inviting hospitality to the heart of Centre, Alabama.
Beverly and Sean poured their passion into every detail of The Pub, creating a space that felt like home for both locals and visitors alike. When the time came to pass the torch, they were determined to find someone who would not only preserve their legacy but also uphold the values that had shaped the Pub from the very beginning.
In 2025, that vision was fulfilled when the Brooks and Franco brothers took ownership. Though joined by marriage, the Brooks and Franco families are bonded like brothers, thick as blood. With years of combined experience in the hospitality industry, they brought not only their love for great food and service, but also a deep understanding of what makes a place truly special.
After visiting Centre and stepping inside The Pub, they instantly fell in love, not just with the place, but with the people and the town itself. Their background in restaurants, events, and customer service gave them the tools to build on the Edwards’ legacy while introducing fresh energy and ideas.
Today, they continue that tradition of genuine hospitality, community connection, and comfort, ensuring The Pub remains a beloved gathering spot for years to come.
